At the Northwestern Skin Cancer Institute our staff provides each patient with the best care in a comfortable and pleasant setting. We treat each patient with respect, courtesy, and kindness as they are valued in this practice. We provide an environment in which everyone works together at a pace that is efficient to your own personal time. Our staff consists of highly qualified personnel who are interested in our patients and we strive to meet all of our patients needs, yet allowing time for your personnel medical needs.

Dr. Brian Cook

Dr. Brian Cook is a native of the Chicago area. Dr. Cook earned his MD degree and completed his residency in Dermatology and Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is board certified as a Dermatologist by the American Board of Dermatology and in Mohs Micrographic Surgery by the American Board of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. Dr. Cook is listed in The Best Doctors in America®, Midwest Region, published by Woodward/White, Inc. Chicago Magazine recognized Dr. Cook in the article “Top Doctors”. Dr. Cook served as Chairman of Dermatology at Northwestern University Medical School and Northwestern Memorial Hospital before founding Northwestern Skin Cancer Institute.

Dr. Jean Christophe Lapiere

Dr. Jean Christophe Lapiere earned his MD degree at the University of Liege, Belgium. Dr. Lapiere has made Chicago his home since deciding to enter Northwestern University where he completed a Residency in Dermatology and Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. He is board certified as a Dermatologist by the American Board of Dermatology and in Mohs Micrographic Surgery by the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. Dr Lapiere is a member of Northwestern Memorial Hospital Medical Staff and co-founder of the Northwestern Skin Cancer Institute.
